STEP 1

Warm the gripping section a little bit (ca. 50 degree celsius) to make the sealent smooth. Do not heat the pen in any way! Unscrew the nib section with the matching nib removal (which is also available on my website). It is important to hold the pen tight on the gripping section while unscrewing the nib! Do not hold the pen on the barrel when you unscrew the nib section to avoid cracks!

After removing the nib section you can dismantle and clean all parts from the rests of the old silicone seal.

STEP 2

Mix the two component silicone seal with a mixture ratio 1:1 (50:50). Processing time is ca. 5-10 minutes!

STEP 3

After cleaning put some silicone seal between the barrel and the gripping section and also between gripping section and nib section (see the following pictures)

Plese be sure that there is no seal on the nib carrier and on the feed. Screw the feed a little bit into the barrel before putting the seal on the barrel. Now you can put some seal on the end of the gripping section and on the end of the nib section.

Screw the nib section completely into the barrel. When the barrel and the gripping section sitting tight together remove the rest of the silicone seal with a tissue.
